About This Site

As a therapist, I have worked with people of various ethnic backgrounds. People are people to me and I care about all of my clients the same.

I have found, through my own experience as a client, and through the the experiences shared by black clients, that some therapists, while caring, simply do not get it. They can not relate to the black experience because, well, they have not lived it.

I created this space for those of you who would like to connect with a therapist who is more likely to be able to relate because of our collective experience as black people in America.
